Whippet Dog

Hello! My name is Allie Stiles and I am the proud owner of Confident Canines Training LLC as well as the owner of 3 Pitbull mutts, Henry, Oswald and Mirah. I am the Aunt to 2 amazing nieces, enthusiastic gardener, amateur cook, and lover of crafting and reading.

I began my journey as a trainer 7 years ago, in 2018. I first began with teaching basic obedience and working with puppies but knew I wanted to work with dogs struggling with reactivity and behavioral issues. I began taking on more behavioral cases and saw the difference it made in the owners life as well as the dogs. This brought me so much joy and I knew I had found my passion in life. I wanted to help dogs stay in their homes and empower owners to feel like they can overcome anything with their canine companion. Seeing people and their dogs move with newfound confidence through situations that would have once caused anxiety and distress was more rewarding than I can express. As an owner of a rehabilitated reactive dog myself I knew the emotional struggles that the owners were going through with their dogs. The embarrassment, stress, anxiety, fear. These feelings can be overwhelming to say the least. I felt uniquely equipped to not only help dogs but to help the owners too. I started my company in 2021. A tumultuous time for the world that also had catastrophic impacts on the animal welfare industry and I got to work.
My dream is to one day have my own training facility as well as a rescue where I can rehabilitate dogs that I pull from shelters and make them more "adoptable" in the eyes of the public. I want nothing more than to provide dogs a second chance at a fulfilling life full of love.
I've mentored under various highly accredited trainers in the Indianapolis area and gathered various certifications over the years including my CPDT-KA. Though I am constantly in pursuit of furthering my education so I can hone my craft to better serve those in my community.

Winter 2025 Update

December 1, 2025

Hello, My Dear Clients!

I hope you have all been staying warm this winter and have been able to take time to be with friends, family and your dogs through the holiday season.

Just a reminder that like the intense summer temperatures I also have policies with working in winter weather conditions. These policies are in place to ensure safety for you and your dogs. If it is below 35 degrees outside sessions will be held inside and walks will become train and plays. The maximum amount of time spent outdoors will be 15 minutes since like heat exhaustion, frost bite and hypothermia can happen FAST for dogs. They have very poor temperature regulation skills, especially if they are young, seniors, or on the smaller side. My top priority is always to provide a SAFE training experience for you and your dog.

Be on the look out for our January newsletter as it will have suggestions for how to keep your dog occupied during the winter months where walks are less frequent and cabin fever can creep in. Group classes will begin again in March but until then stay consistent with your training and try to take time regularly to maintain your dogs socialization.

As always you're always welcome to reach out with any questions or to set up refresher sessions.

See you soon and have a happy holiday season!

-Allie
